The Sustainable Student
The Sustainable Student was established in October 2021 as an online educational branch of the community-based company The Sustainable Switch. At present, The Sustainable Student has one course available, their University 101 course which caters to all post-secondary students. Our goal is to curate more interactive courses for students, focusing on a range of subjects for a reasonable price. For more information on the University 101 course, see the course page below.
UNIVERSITY 101
The Sustainable Student’s University 101 course was established in an effort to aid this generation of students through their transition from high school to post-secondary learning. The two types of learning are vastly different; as such, making this transition without help can be exceptionally difficult and can have negatives effects on your mental and physical well-being. This course was designed to help you succeed in your transition and handle any stress that may come along with it.
Course Modules
Course Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course other than age. Participants must be 17 years of age or older. While we expect most participants will already be enrolled in post-secondary school, we are happy to work with those preparing to enter as well. Note: If you are an ESL student, we are happy to work with you. If this is you, please contact the instructors directly to ensure proper accommodations are in place.
